What exactly is a “mobile dry bar”?
A mobile dry bar is a fully equipped bar on wheels — built inside a restored horse trailer. We serve drinks at your event, but the alcohol is supplied by you (the client). We provide bartenders, mixers, ice delivery, cups, and all the bar essentials to make your celebration seamless.
Do you sell or provide the alcohol?
No. We’re a dry bar, which means we don’t sell alcohol. You provide it, and we handle everything else — service, setup, mixing, and presentation.
How does it work if we’re providing the alcohol?
Once you choose your menu, we’ll give you a detailed shopping list with quantities based on your guest count and drink preferences. You purchase and bring the alcohol to the event or we can arrange pick up for you— we’ll take care of the rest!
What types of events are you perfect for?
Weddings, engagement parties, bridal showers, corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries, graduation parties, festivals, and private celebrations — basically any event that could use a stress free, stylish bar setup! We also provide coffee & cocktail making classes for a more intimate setting.
What’s included in your bar packages?
Every package includes professional bartenders, a custom bar menu, disposable cups, napkins, bar tools & storage solutions, and setup/cleanup of the bar area. We can also provide non-alcoholic options, mixers, and signature cocktail recipes.
How do I book one of your services for my event?
Start by filling out our inquiry form or send us a message with your event details! Check out our step by step booking process, outlining exactly what you can expect when hiring one of our mobile bar services!
Can you help us design our drink menu?
Absolutely! We love creating custom menus to fit your theme, colors, or favorite flavors. From signature cocktails to mocktails, we’ll help design a bar experience that fits your event perfectly.
Are you licensed, insured and hold proper permits?
Yes – we operate under a Food Safety Operations license, permits are not required to serve private Events (Events in KY subject to permit submission). We provide licensed bartenders certified in Responsible Alcohol Management Program. Mane Event Trailer Co. also holds general liability & liquor liability insurance. We are happy to work with all venues to provide proper documentation upon request.
Do you sell Bourbon or Cigars?
No — The Ember Club is a dry service. Clients provide their own alcohol and cigars, and our licensed bartenders and attendants serve and manage them professionally at your event.
How does the bourbon and cigar bar service work?
We can provide recommendations for bourbon varieties, flight pairings, or craft cocktail options as well as a menu of cigar options available to order directly from a licensed retailer based on your guest count, taste preferences and budget. You purchase the bourbon and cigars and we can handle the pick up logistics if desired.
Do you have attendants to assist with cigars?
Yes. We can provide a cigar bar display, humidors, cutters, lighters, as long as we have a designated outdoor area for guests to enjoy their cigars. Our cigar attendants can cut, light, and guide guests through their selections to enhance the experience — similar to a cigar concierge or “rolling lounge” service.
Do you offer lounge furniture or seating?
Yes! We can include cigar lounge setup with Adirondack chairs, bourbon barrels, ashtrays, and accent lighting and fire pit for a full outdoor effect.
What drinks does The Bean Buggy serve?
The Bean Buggy serves non- alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, matcha and seasonal specialties. We can collaborate to determine the best menu for your event based on number of guests and preferences. Please see our full coffee trailer menu for customizable options!
Can you set up both indoors and outdoors?
The Tipsy Trailer and The Bean Buggy can accommodate both indoor and outdoor events while The Ember Club is designed primarily for outdoor events – but we can set up adjacent to tents, patios, or covered areas depending on your venue layout.
Can we decorate the trailer?
Of course! We are happy to provide seasonal decor and custom menu signs but you are more than welcome to add your own floral arrangements or signage tailored to your event theme. We just ask that decorations be removable and not cause damage to the trailer.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking at least 6–9 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (May–October). However, we may have a last minute cancellation and be readily available for your next event!
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking to secure your event date, with the remaining balance due 60 days before your event.
What is your cancellation and weather contingency policy?
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the event will result in forfeiture the deposit. In the unlikely event Mane Event Trailer Co. must cancel, all payments will be refunded in full and reasonable assistance will be provided to help find an alternative vendor. We operate indoors and outdoors, rain or shine.
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, government restrictions, venue closures, pandemics, strikes, or extreme weather.
Do you travel outside of your local area?
Yes! We serve Cincinnati, Ohio & NKY surrounding areas and can travel for destination events. Travel fees apply for locations 60+ miles.
How much space does the trailer need?
Our vintage horse trailer is approximately 13 feet long, 8 feet wide and 9 feet tall. We require a flat, level space for service, early access for set up plus room to maneuver safely. If indoors, we will need an entry point into the venue for the towing vehicle. Many venues have industrial garage doors that allow ample room for our trailer to be pulled inside, keep in mind our SUV must fit for drop off and pick up.
Do you need power or water hookups?
We operate independently with our own power and water set up!
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes, as required by Ohio law, we charge sales tax on the service portion of your booking.
Is Gratuity included in final bill?
Gratuity for our bartenders will be included in your final bill, due 60 days before event, if a tip jar is not desired at the event.
